Rob's 1997 Ford Crown Victoria

After owning my '96 Crown Vic for 5 years, and seeing it deteriorate (rough roads and Michigan salt are tough on a car), I decided it was time to locate a replacement daily driver. This would allow me to actually begin working on the rust repair on the '96.
I happened to be looking through the classifieds on GrandMarq.net, and saw a posting for a '97 Vic. This Vic was said to be in very nice condition, but the engine had thrown a rod. The price? Exactly what the scrapyard offered: $100. So, I contacted the owner, set a time to come by, and rented a truck and trailer to haul it from the Lansing, MI area back to Taylor, MI.
Here are a couple of pix from the ad on grandmarq.net:

This is a work in progress- my '96 is working OK at this time, so I am taking my time with getting this car up to snuff. Pictures to follow as the project moves along!
