Here we have a gorgeous Catalina convertible in Mint Green, topped with a white convertible top. This car is beautiful! Check out the oh-so-long quarter panels and admire how straight the body is. Interesting wheels, you say? Look closely--those tires aren`t wrapped around any ordinary old wheel. This Catalina has the exquisite and highly sought-after Pontiac 8-lug wheels. For those who don`t know, the center of the wheel is actually the brake drum, and the rim is mounted to the outer edge of the brake drum. It`s 40-plus years later and those wheels are still an object of unequaled beauty. Let`s check out the inside of this amazing car! The seats are still comfortable and lend themselves to some easy cruising. The automatic transmission is column shifted and instrumentation is typical of large Pontiacs of the Sixties--a couple of gauges, then lights for everything else. A somewhat newer Delco AM/FM radio cranks out some tunes to keep you happy as you ease on down the road. The original factory clock still ticks and keeps good time! Under the hood rests a smooth running Pontiac V8. The original 389 cubic inch engine fed by a 2-barrel carburetor. This engine starts quickly and runs smoothly, with plenty of power to motivate this Catalina. The automatic transmission is a 389/275HP that slips into gear firmly with no hesitation. Power steering makes navigating this large Pontiac a job that`s done with the greatest of ease. The Catalina`s other power option is the convertible top, able to be lowered and raised with the touch of a button. In short, here is a Pontiac Catalina convertible that will certainly be a blast to drive, whether it`s to the beach or to a weekend cruise-in. This would be a great example of vintage Pontiac iron for any collection. I also have the books, protection plate, window sticker, some service records. The last owner had it over 25 years. All numbers matching. Visit our website to see more photos of this beauty at www.FRIENDSHIPCLASSICS.com. Call us today to schedule a test drive at 240-388-5177.

It is, tho "clean" always seems like a very strange way to describe a car. Maybe I'm having flashbacks to "A Hard Day's Night" and that old man in it: "He's very clean, isn't he?"
