Robertson929's 1966 Holden Ute

Thought i might add a few photos of my work ute.
i bought a lx torana with the intention of having it ready for when i finally got my licence but just like every other restoring story things have led from one thing to another and now its half injected. so until i have it finished i have to run to work and back and i bought a fairly stock old hr ute.
bought it off a bloke who had restored the whole car himself. i must admit he done a extremely tidy job but the only bad point i can say is the panel work is a quite noticebly done by an ameteur in the right light but still good. colour is mitsubishi rallye blue. interior was dressed by betta auto covers at the coast and features nissan pathfinder buckets with the headrests removed and recovered.
so i picked up the ute at a good price and slapped on a set of showwheels 17x7 and 17x8 streeters which suit the car down to the ground. had the springs reset 41/2 inches in the rear with the pump up air shocks and 3 inch lower coils up front. looked ok but i needed a bit more under the foot. so i traced down a single sidedraught weber manifold and got a 45dhla dell'orto mixed with the yella terra head and just a stage one cam as i tried to keep it mild for everyday use. and basically thats as the car stands today. once the torana is completed plans are for the hr to be stripped and a full rebuild but just enjoying while i can at the moment. feel free to comment and share advice
