BigDave1's 1976 Chevrolet Camaro
Somehow half of my page disappeared when I updated it. Here is my reconstructed page...
Thank you for visiting my page. My Camaro is a 1976 Type LT, with a 350 V-8 and 4 speed manual. I have owned it since April 1997.
Here are some photos. I recently repainted the wheels back to the original argent silver color, but some of the pictures were taken before.

My car is almost completely factory stock. It has the somewhat uncommon code 40 lime green paint, which was a 1976-only color. Production of Camaros with this color was 6,568 cars out of 182,959 cars, or about 3.6%. The interior is black knit vinyl.
Of those 182,959 1976 Camaros built, about 29% were the Type LT model and 71% were the base Camaro Sport Coupe. There were three engines available. About 21% had the 250 cid inline 6 cylinder, 48% had the 305 cid V-8, and 31% had the 350 V-8. The Type LT had the 305 as standard equipment, but the 350 could be ordered as an option, as was the case with mine.
My car was built in the Norwood, Ohio assembly plant, and I believe it was originally sold from a dealer in Western New York. I suspect it stayed in Western New York until I bought it in 1997. I think I am at least the third or fourth owner. In 1999 I moved from Rochester back to the Pittsburgh PA area where I am originally from.
