Here is the scoop on the skylark.
Around August, one of my rods popped, and now i have a rod knock in the engine. However that will not stop me.
I have orded a remanufactured 2.3l Dohc quad 4 from http://www.buick-auto-and-parts.com/rebuilt_engines/skylark-1995-engines---GMC-2300LB-9.html
its on its way so in about 2 to 3 months she will be faster than before. I orded the high performance engine so im guessing stock will be about 170hp and 150 to 160 lbs torqe. (not sure yet) so hang tight and more updates will follow.
This is Vanna. My 1995 Buick Sklylark GS Custom. Not you average Buick. She is equipped with a 2.3L quad 4 DOHC. Custom intake made with pipes that i got from home depots plumbing department. The motor was somewhat rebuilt. New timing chain, new aftermarket fuel injectors, Platinum +4 spark plugs, low restriction exhaust, new mounts, new intake manifold,new alternator and belt, le mans tires that grip the road like stink on shit and the one loud system.
