Hello, Here is my 2000 Mercury cougar. I bought it about a year ago. and just started to do modifications about a month ago. I figured it was time to get started. I just absolutely guessed on the quarter mile time, speed, and the horsepower shown on the left. i am going ot go to a drag strip to get the official timing and everything soon.
As you can see i got a little excited with the Yellow paint spray can. My friend and i removed the top and bottom grill and carefully painted them with yellow.
If you are a cougar owner you know there is that little grove/indentation on the hood. well we decided to also give that a yellow paint job. I think it came out great. I need to redo it though cause the day we did it had surprise thunderstorms later that night, so it kinda washed a way a little, you can't notice it from a distance though.

Here is the motor. the only thing i changed was the intake so far. took about 30 min to put in, very easy. Gives the car a really nice mean aggressive sound.
