Here is one of my cars that I own. A friend and I built this car together. We built it for SPL competition and I did farely well for what I have in it. Here is a pic of the actual car.

For the radio that I used in it was a panasonic g-tech cd player. I chose this one because it has a 10 second anti-skip fuction in it so the cd won't skip when the bass hits from the speakers. Here is the radio with the trim ring painted red and the mounting kit wraped with red vinyl.

With the subs in the back I could not see out the back window so we decided to modify the rear view mirror to house the face of the eq that I had. It was one of pioneers top of the line eq's with a detachable face and the brain is separate from the face. I painted the trim ring on this red as well.

A few other tings that I dont have pics of right now are the amps in the back and my door panels. I have a MTX 5400x running almost everything in the car except the subs. For the subs I have 3 MTX blue thunder class d amps.
For the door panels, I modified them to house 8 inch subs where the factory 5.25 speakers went. I made fiberglass pods for them to sit in and they were covered in black carpet. I moved the mirror controls down a bit on the door and put in polk audio 1 inch tweeters where the controls sat. The trim is painted red on these as well.
Now for what everyone probably wants to see. We decided to put in 9, 15 inch subs in the back for competition. We had to take out the back seat for this. It took us a couple months to build the box for the subs with all the cutting of wood, using expanding foam to fill in the cracks and also using fiberglass to strengthen the box. I had the box done and went to a few competitions with the box uncarpeted. We fiberglassed the box to the car and put in 3, 5.25 speakers on both sides of the wall. Wish I had pics of the entire install but I don't. The subs that are in the picture are 15 inch 12 ohm MTX blue thunder subs. They had to run in sets of three to get the ohm load down for the amps to put out the power for them. I ended up taking these out and putting in 8 ohm 15 inch MTX 6000 subs. They look awesome in there. The loudest I ever hit was 154.1 DB. I was extremely happy with how it all turned out. Unfortunately the car has a bad engine and I am unable to drive it anymore. I hope to get it fixed but not sure when that is going to happen. Here is the pic of the old subs in the car. I will get more pics of the new stuff as soon as I can.

Thanks for taking a look at my car.
