I just recently bought a 1973 White Opel GT from a guy down the road. He had a little work put into it, but it was mostly engine work. Want to have my car completly done by Prom which is like beginning or mid-March of 2005.
Engine - Runs perfect. Its really quiet and there are no leaks.
Lights - Had a problem with the turn signal's and found out I had to change the switch in the wiring harness, so everything is fine now.
Body - A few rusts spots here and there, I only see 2 places behind the wheels that are rusted through, and will probably need to be replaced with hand made body panels.
Overall this car is in GREAT condition for 800 dollars. I will be dropping the engine sometime this week, and stripping the car down to just the body, so I can sand and get it repainted 2004 Nissan 350z Electric Blue.
The whole body of the car is going to be blue. Than the engine compartment I'm painting black, along with a black interior. The Rims I decieded to use are 15x7 American Racing Chrome with 1" spacers all around.
