i have a 1999 2.8 (yes the inline 6 not the 4banger z3) 200hp stock.
I will add more pics as soon as the suspension and interior is done (in a month).
The only changes at the moment are some chrome accents in the interior, chrome roll bars, clear reflectors, and breyton vision with bridgestone s03's (18x8.5 225/40/18 in the front 18x9.5 255/35/18 in the back). The suspension (bilstien/H&R/ground control mounts, and M strut mounts) are in my living room waiting to be installed. (I am waiting for the eibach sways, butt-strutt+body brace, and have them all installed at the same time..as well as having the sway mounts double gusset welded to reinforce them.)

I "fogged" my intake as well recently here are a few pics of what the car looked like halfway through the process:

Whats next:
Well, in my quest for more power, I am starting with handling, and breaking. With the butt strut, body brace, and suspension the car should be pretty rigid and manageable. Then comes brembo brakes. I am going to move the battery in the trunk and the spare tire so I can get a quad exhaust (like what the M's have), underdrive pulley, and numerous other small pieces to make the car more responsive. Then the active autowerke supercharger.
You might wonder with all that im spending I could have easily got an M roadster (in fact this was more expensive then alot of used M's available). But the price was right, its a rare discontinued "montreal blue metallic" color (which i am a HUGE fan of) and extended leather (which you cant get on an M).. and really, when its all said and done a stock 2.8 with NO mods and just a supercharger will beat M roadsters 2000 and older (stock 2000 and older M roadsters only put out 240hp, the supercharger alone will make a 2.8 put out 280hp). (2001 M roadsters have an S54 motor that puts out 315hp.)
besides half the fun is the project. right?
