YOU WANNA A PIECE COME AND GET IT!!Well here it is my 1980 Silverado. I have yet to even get started on it good but hopefuly in the near future I'll have some more pics for ya'll. I also have plans to buy a 383 stroker from a local race shop for $600.00 and do some other stuff or redo the bowtie block you'll just have to wait for the pics. Pssss PLEASE SIGN MY GUEST BOOK AS I WON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE UNLESS YOU SIGN IT. Thank you.

Here you can see the interior where I have installed a grant steering wheel the rest is stock. Here you can see the stock motor.

Here is what happens when you let other people drive you're vehicles. Thank hot_rodd. Here is what I have done to fix that little blemish caused by my little brother hot_rodd. Any how I found a 1979 front clip for $10.oo and got to work and 5.1/2hrs later here is what I have.

OK the pick that you see on the left is the same way I am going to do my truck with the exception of a few personal touches. I am going to paint it royal blue metalic have some ghost race numbers laid on the doors. I will have tint that is on thee line of leagle on all four windows. I will use custom roll pans and a billet grill but have them sprayed to match the theme of the truck. My truck will also sit just as this one does bu insted it will be resting on a set of Bassett IMCA/Wissota 15x8 racing wheels painted body color. Wrapped in 275/60/15 Hoosier Radial GT RWL tire's. I will also add the hood that you see to the right.or i will get me a snorkle and just have it chopped so that it is a low profile version of the stock one.

Well here are two old ones that I dug up so enjoy. The first pic that you see here is of the truck and the race car The day after I bought it. And I think this one explains itself.

nice truck. very nice. i saw your profile leave a coment on my bro's profile. and i argree with what you saw. as you can tell he handed the car down to me. i have taken very great care of it for him untill one night he wanted to borrow it to go to a basketball game and slid on some ice and rear ended some one. haven't updated the pics but we removed the reator so we could get to the engine to se if it would run and it did. so now our mission is to rebuild the car.

here is the info. my friend made the 2 brackets for the front end using a piece of square tubing . he cut it in half lengthwise into about 4 or 5 inch long pieces. so there are 2 pieces for each hinge. then he drilled a hole through the ends and put a bolt through the holes to make a hinge. before all of this we took off the hood and fenders. we first welded the hinges to the frame and grinded the frame until the front would tilt like in the picture on the site. then we made the lines and cut the fender into 2 pieces and welded the bottom pieces on. then we bolted on the fenders to the front piece and tackwelded the hood on. that pretty much how we did it in a nutshell. so it should give you the basic ideas. but i have seen kits in magazines to do it. let me know if you have any more questions.
