Exterior/Exterior LightingHere is a list of the various exterior modifications I made______________________________*Big Star sport grille*Ornament plug (one benz symbol is enough for me)*Custom tailpipe 1, later redone *Custom tailpipe 2*LLumar automotive film. I first added this grille because I am obsessed with SECs!! But now I am tired of this grille because I have seen it on too many benzes!! Seems like I might as well have kept the old one on. I plan to replace it with either a rare 600 style grille for the w126, custom mesh type grille, or to have the hood modified to be a SEC hood. What do you think would look best?? Yes I know it is crooked! That is how I wanted it. Brabus exhausts used to exit like that and I loved that so I had mine done to look that way. It's a cheaply done exhaust, I know but at the time,it was for function mainly and looks were secondary. Only exhaust modification I have found for my car is a full stainless steel system, which costs about $700. I had to have the exhaust redone though, because the old way got the back of my car too dirty!! Three days after a wash, the left side would be black, and the other side would be clean. LLumar automotive film. Was all the way around, but when I got the car inspected the girl scratched the tint on the front windshield so I took it off the front windshield. For now its 38% on front to windows and 18% everywhere else. I plan to get front windows tinted darker to 18% and have the front windshield redone very soon. I take pictures as soon as I get it done. Exterior lighting modifications_______________________________* ALL clear taillights*Custom modified clear taillights*Clear corners*European headlamps*Bi-xenon projector retrofit I purchased these All clear taillights about two three ago. This was back before they were all over ebay, and it took work to get them. I had these taillights shipped directly from Germany. Although I have enjoyed these taillights, the police in my city didn't, because they did not meet D.O.T. specifications, and therefore they were illegal. After being harassed the cops a few to many times and written a ticket, I decided to make a change. These taillights were modified by me to meet D.O.T. requirements. Although they look very similar to some taillights which can be found on ebay, if you look closely, you can see that they are not. These taillights can be easily be converted back to be completely clear if so desired. The housings contain Polarg hyper white reverse bulbs, chrome brake and turn signal bulbs, and police strobes. These clear corners were purchased along with the taillights as a package. I must say that they are cheaply made though, because one time I was driving on the highway and the driver light's lense came off completely, exposing the bulb. Good thing it was sunny though. I purchased another cheaply made set to replace them. Until I have to buy two more sets, it will not be cheaper than getting the oem Bosch lamps. These have chrome park/turn indicators, as well as police strobes as well. These European headlamps are oe bosch unit, which cost $721.26 from Performance Products. They provide a great deal of light, compared to the old 4x6 units I had with PIAA xtreme white bulbs. They have glass lenses which can be replaced if necessary. I have a set of Hella bi-xenon projectors retrofitted in my headlights. More information about this can be found on page 3.
