PLEASE VOTE AND GIVE ME ANY SUGGESTIONS AND FEEDBACK ON MY PROJECT, THANKS

Hello. This is my truck that Iam restoring, it's a 1970 F-100. I bought it off a guy who used it for farming, pay $700 canadian for it. Pretty decent deal because the thing ran and drove fine.

This is the Alberta beef behind this truck. It's a 360 ci 5.9 ltr. I am scrapping this motor and going with the 351 windsor. Parts for the windsor are more plentiful and modifying them are a lot easier.

It was pretty easy stripping this thing down. Putting it back together is going to be the real fun part. I stripped the front end and gutted out the cab. I have decided to go with a mustang II frontend. This will ensure that the truck will ride like a caddy. And the frame is getting finished up with a nice layer of black powdercoating

Here I am pulling the motor, cab and box off. Pretty basic stuff, strip the frame and get it prepped for some powdercoating.

Here is the bare frame right now, just need to clean it and prep it up for the sandblaster. Here's the frame with pretty much everything off it, just a few more things to come off and the frontend is getting chopped and tig welded to accomidate the mustang II frontend.

The truck is already set up with a 9 inch rearend. Just need to rebuild it and put a detroit locker or possi-trac in there. we'll see, haven't got that far though.

I am getting ready to get out the cutting torch. I also orderd all the parts for the mustang II frontend. The kit comes with the crossmember, A arms, Springs, 12 inch Disc brakes, tierods, powersteering kit. And that stuff should be here pretty soon. One of the more expensive parts of my project, $3000 bill.

This is my buddys 1972 chevy nova. It's got a 454 big block chevy in it. He says it's pushing around 510 HP. Thats not bullshit because just look at these pics....

Nice truck man, doesn't look like to much body work needs to be done. How is the interior?

351 Windsor was produced in Cobra Mustangs and cop Crown Vics well into the 80s and early 90s, that motor can handle EFI, EGR, cats, hotter cams, blowers, whatever you throw at it, and that's what's in my truck...hey if you don't want to keep or refinish those grill inserts, I'd love 'em!!!

Looks like a nice project good luck. I am restoring a 1967 F100 myself come check it out sometime. I do have one question for you though. I noticed you are replacing the original front end and we need one part that we lost. We need one of the brake hose brackets that mount to the frame. If you still have this part we could use it since i havent been able to find a replacement and it would be easier then making a custom bracket that might not work. thanks
