Bullshit and Plano Texas Police Suck!!!
Like I put on the earlier page, I bought my car on Saturday, May 31, 2003. I had not even owned my car a week before a stupid bitch from TxTech hit me. On Wednesday, June 4th, I was turning from southbound service road for Central Expressway on to Plano Pkwy. There were two left turn lanes, with mine being on her right side. The lane she was in was a left turn only lane. When the light turned green, I turned left and she went straight, hitting me and on the wet pavement spun my car around.
I sat in my car until the police arrived. They told me to move my car from the intersection and to park it in a nearby paking lot. I got out and exchanged information with the girl. She said she was sorry she hit me and that she would help pay for my damages. I asked the police what I should do. The fucking Plano police officer said "Because nobody is injured, and the damage is only minor, There is no need for us to write up a police report." I figured since I heard it straight from his donut stuffed face that I could trust him. I mean, he is a police officer, we've always been taught to "trust" the police. Anyways, moving on, when I went to file with my insurance company, the same as hers, they took a statement from me and her. I have just related what I told the insurance company, but she said that I moved into her lane and because no police report was filed, we have conflicting stories for our claims.
Now I realize, the damage is only a dent, and basically cosmetic, but there is a little lip that has been pushed down by about an inch. With my 17" wheels, any time I have another person in the car with me or if I hit a dip in the road hard, the wheel rubs and causes an awful sound. If I turn right hard, the rubbing sound is present. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about it until the insurance company settles my claim.
