New stuff: A pic and clip of my speedo on my regular top end runs -- page five
I purchased a new digicam a few days ago, so I'm going to get some nice hi-res shots of the car as soon as our winter-weather clears up.

My car is an '03 Toyota RunX 140RT. In Europe, it is known as the Corolla hatch.
At the heart of the car is an unmodified 1400cc 4 cylinder VVT-i engine, producing 71kW at 6000rpm and 127NM at 4800rpm. As you can see, this is not a performance machine. It is the base model in the RunX lineup.
Mods: Stage one
The first thing I did to the car was fit the OEM roof mounted spoiler. This was done about one week after the car was purchased. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the car completely standard. The oldest pics I have were taken straight after the second mod:
I felt that the car was riding too high, so I lowered the suspension by 40mm, using Koenic springs. I lowered it mainly for aesthetic reasons, but the handling advantage also played a part in my decision. On page two you will find pics of my car taken straight after these two mods.
Mods: Stage two
While the car looks great with a lower stance, the wheels were still looking very small. The standard tyre size is 195/60-15. I decided to go for 17" rims, but for a long time I was uncertain about which rims to go for. I had a poll on this page, but nobody took part...
Anyway, I eventually decided to fit silver 17x7 Lenso (Tenzo) RS5 rims. Those are wrapped in 215/40ZR17 Falken Ziex ZE512 tyres. Updated pics of the car with the new running gear can be found here.
Sound
The OEM Panasonic head unit is still being used. The front speakers were replaced with Boston Acoustic FS60 splits. In the boot (trunk for you Americans...) I have two 12" Pioneer VCCS subs in a sealed box. The splits and subs are running off a 4-channel American Amps amp. Since the head unit does not have pre-amp outs, I needed to connect hi-lo converters. See page four for pics.
Future mods
I don't want to do much more to the car. I intend on selling it in five years time, and I am keeping the stock wheels so that I can fit them just before I sell. I have also kept the stock springs, which will also be fitted.
I am considering two future mods:
1) Slight tinting of the side and rear windows.
2) OEM fog lights.
In terms of sound, the amp I am currently using is much too weak. It gets hot and goes into protection mode after a while of heavy volume. So I am planning on importing an Adire Tempest (or perhaps Stryke AV15) and an additional amp. And with the remaining two channels on my current amp I might power some rear-fill splits.
