Digital Jesus's 1991 3000GT VR4
This car is now around 12 years old and I am the proud third owner of this vehicle. It has always been treated with the utmost respect and has been meticulously maintained by all of them.

The 3000GT is not a "Ricer Car" (no offense intended with that term)...it is a pure bred sports car. Everywhere you go with this car you get looks, and rightfully so, as this is perhaps one of the top 10 sports cars of the 90's.

This car comes STOCK with 300HP and 315 ft./lbs. of Torque right off the showroom floor. Powered by a Twin-Turbo V6 mated to a 5-speed manual tranny (6-speed manual in 94's and up...no autos in VR4's...thank God) and a full-time AWD drivetrain this car chews up and spits out cars at the drag strip. With AWD (only on the VR4, not on the SL or the base 3000GT) very few other cars (that are stock...and a good number that aren't...:)..) will beat the 3000GT off the line. The stock 91 VR4 has a top speed of 162.2 MPH, 1994 and up models (6 speed) hit 172 MPH.

With options not available even on expensive Italian Supercars the 3000GT VR4 is a dream for the gadget-head. The 1991 VR4 comes with Active Aero, a system that tilts the rear spoiler down 15 degrees to bite more air and the front under-car spoiler drops down 2.5 inches to restrict the flow of air under the car. This feature activates automatically after you car goes 50MPH. Also standard on a VR4 is ECS, Electronic Controlled Suspension, which has 2 settings, Tour and Sport. Tour is excellent for long highway trips where you don't want you butt or your body tired from feeling every nook and cranny in the road. Sport mode for when you do. This can be engaged on-the-fly from the drivers side.

Still not enough? The VR4 has Active Exhaust which allows you to control to which muffler the exhaust system runs to. In Sport mode in stays in the left muffler creating the shortest path outta the car and better performance. Tour mode switches the exhaust to the right side muffler and its quieter and helps make sure Johhny Law doesn't hear where ya are so easily...:)

Perhaps the coolest feature in my mind is 4-wheel in-phase steering (AWS). This engages after 40 MPH and allows insane handling on the highway and on the track. Once you use it, you don't ever wanna drive a 2-wheel steering system again. You can tell the VR4's apart this way (even if they debadge) when they go down (or up) a curved on-ramp/off-ramp...watch those rear tires....if they are moving, you got yourself a VR4...it's the coolest feeling too....turns at 100MPH+, AWD and AWS combined in one package simply can't be beat! Did I mention 300 Horses as well? :)!

As for my personal ride, it's bone stock in terms of performance at the moment. I got a fun game....take a look at all the pictures I have on here and guess how many miles I have on this car. You're looking at the original paint..take a guess then go to the next page and see how right/wrong ya are...;). It'll suprise ya.
