1968 Dodge Charger R/T Clone
440ci - 727 Trans - 3.91 Sure-Grip

After a long and hard winter of work this car is finally back on the road after nearly a decade of sitting. I've had to replace a ton of parts but it's coming along well. Best time at the track after 3 passes was 13.86 @ 99 MPH. Not too bad for a stock 440 with headers and an RPM intake. After just two shows it's already taken home one first place trophy. Enjoy.

These pictures were taken before rear stripe was added. When I get some extra time I plan on taking the car back up to this location to get some current shots of it.

Here's a couple of misc pictures. The first shot shows the 295/50/15" tires in the rear. The tires are on Cragar 10" wheels with 5" backspace. Because the car is lowered, some modifications had to be made to the wheel lip to get it to tuck in there.

Here's the engine compartment. It's a 440 with an edelbrock 750 carb. It also has an electric fan, edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold and headers. Future additions will be electronic ignition, aluminum radiator and a Hughes Camshaft.

Here's the interior shortly after installing carpet and new gauges. Since this picture I have installed the pedals and radio. It all looks pretty much stock inside with the column shifter, factory AM radio and new Legenday interior installed. It still needs some work inside but for the most part it's all there.
