We've got our unnamed driver transporting a jewelry smuggler when he encounters some men with guns wearing ski masks, and they sure as hell aren't going skiing. It shows off the car, and while the car gets pretty much destroyed in the film, it's a pretty cool chase scene. It's directed by John Frankenheimer, and he's pretty good as an action director, but I wish somebody would just smack him and say "You're a goddamned tool of the studio factory system, do something interesting!" but we can't, because after all, he's John Frankenheimer. The one thing that irks me about this flick is that they pit the 740i against, of all things, a van. In one scene they're blowing down a two-lane road at 140, and in the next, the van is right behind them.
