So here's my latest big project: the TRUE BLACK interior. I was pretty fed up with charcoal gray a.k.a. supa' friggin' ugly. So about 5 cans of Krylon Fusion and 3 cans of leather/vinyl paint later, I've got my black interior. Also the car has finally been recarpeted in true black.
- My seats are still gray; I'll be getting custom black seat covers eventually.
This is old news, but I was going to paint my vents silver, but I virtually destroyed one trying to take it out, so I over Christmas break I replaced them all with aluminum mesh--I love the look. I took out the wheel tuner pods and replaced them with mesh as well.
Now you see why people chop time off quarter miles after stripping interiors :-P

Autovation aluminum pedals.

In the last pic is an aluminum gauge overlay from MBA Products. I think it really looks good and is different from your average white-face gauge overlay.
