First the deck, it's a 52x4 Sony deck with three 4-volt preamp outs and aux input.
Next is the Sony monaural amplifier, outputting 400W RMS at 2 ohms to the 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch stage 3 sub. The sub's in the box I made for it out of medium density fiber board. It's sealed and about .7 cubic feet of air for the sub, so almost what rockford fosgate says it should have. The box took a couple days to make, as it sits in a really weirdly shaped cavity. I LOVE the way it sounds, the punch and low bass are equally awesome.
Now my amp used to be sitting on the rear deck mat as seen below.
It was basically just screaming "steal me!" so I started a little project. I cut a couple pieces of pine into bowed strips, painted them black, coated them in epoxy, and placed them in the grooves on the trunk flap thing. They added enough rigidity for the amp to be mounted on the opposing side, and now no one can see it when the hatch is closed!
