New Developments. It's over. I'm calling it a day. I'm putting the car back to stock and selling it. 8k obo.

UPDATE: FIRST IN 6 MONTHS!
Well, since last I updated I've been busy at UCI, and haven't been with my car much. John is the reason the clutch died, and after having a new one, it suspiciously took one day for the car to break again. This time it was the big one, the oil pump failed and the engine and turbo went with it. That was January 16. I have been amassing engine parts since then, and this week work began on the car. It's getting a DCR 55MM TB, a DRC 5-layer head gasket, and a methanol injection kit.
My goal is an easier-reached 350whp. Work on the engine started today, so I expect one week until it is running. Finals are next week and I'll be home in a week after that. Here's hoping.
9/9 UPDATE: The car isn't fixed yet, refer to last post about flakey help. I've one week to get this done or it's going to sit for three months untouched. The problem was the clutch arm pivot ball was broken, and the tranny had to come out. As it is a labor intensive install/removal, I didn't do it, and I'm stuck trying to have it finished. Maybe it'll be done within the next week, if so I'll repost.
7/2 Well, the fourth is two days away, and I'm sans car again. Air got into the clutch lines. My help is more flakey than a croissant. The problem is debated, and I'm working on getting replacement parts. I'm trying my best to find out exactly what caused the problem to prevent it.
4/16 The car is running, has been for two or so months. Tranny mount solved any dump tube problems, and the 750CC injectors will be going in when it gets tuned. It's great to drive again.

After
3/17 As is my luck, the car still hasn't run since September. I'm going to try to have it finished up by this weekend. I've installed the tranny mount, and have a new, smaller, less laggy turbo, the T3/T4 3147. The 60-1 is on sale.

1/13 CMI has been rescheduled for 1/23. Car is scheduled to be completed by then. Maintenance. Currently, this is what it looks like.
11/27 Exactly one month later, my new intercooler showed up. I just hope it fits. I'll find out Monday or Tuesday. Here is how it currently looks.
10/27 The car has been repaired, save for the replacement intercooler, which was improperly manufactured, and doesn't fit the car. That's about a month I"ve been without the SRT. I've replaced its daily driving functions with a '97 Neon with 80 or so hp. If I can find the camera, I could get pics of both.
9/10 Horrible news. Three weeks after it's tuned to 340WHP and 320WTQ @ 20 PSI, it was hit, backed into when parked. Damage estimates are at about 3000 dollars right now. Needs new radiator, AC condenser, ac system to be flushed, front fascia, Dodge emblem (very important), intercooler, some metal work.
8/21 UDM meet had over 160 cars. I have pics and videos but can't host or edit them...
8/15 Back from vacation, good news!
New DYNO from monday. The dyno weather was unfortunate, as it was 112 degree weather, nevertheless, the car made 315WHP at 17 psi.

6/27 STAGE 2 INSTALLED!
The car idles rather smoothly despite what I've been reading about other peoples' stage 2's. The new PCM doesn't pull timing until 19 or 20 psi, so I can run much more boost than the 13.5 I have been. Right now I'm going up 1 psi at a time, I'm at about 17, and it is fast. After a stop at an exhaust shop, I'll dyno the car, hopefully.

6/20 STAGE TWO SHIPPED! Mopar S2 is on the way, should be here 6/25, more then.
6/3 Vendor who screwed up the emanage and E-01 install also screwed up fuel system install. Changing of fuel regulator yielded even worse results, a modified one is on order.
5/27 Drove up Mt. Diablo, the highest peak in my area, good view. Some pictures on page 11.
5/22 I went to another SRT owner's place, where he helped greatly with the installation of my Perrin Sway bar, and installed my Underdrive pulley. The pulley bolt had so much torque that it snapped two arms of the puller. After the new endlinks, and perrin sway bar, the front was raised .5 inches to keep it from bottoming out anymore.
On the way home it felt awesome, and I can contest that it handles like it never has before.
A leak check was performed, and my boost problems were sorted out, several large leaks were preventing me from making decent power.
5/13 Car is back up and running, runs better than before. Also, I went over to Oakland Hills, and got some pictures of the bay. I also got stuck in the Caldecott tunnel because of a big accident. Pictures are on page ten.
5/4 Down Time. The car is sitting in the garage, turbo out on the floor, manifold at a shop being resurfaced, and some other work done to it. A tap and a bolt broke inside of it...so that had to be taken care of. The exhaust manifold to head gasket was fucked, so a new one of those is on the way, should be here thursday.
4/25 Bad news. I let my idiocy slip and raced a Porsche Carrera [in my defense, that asshat instigated it...]. Though I won, he got off the highway, and thus the CHP didn't touch him. They got me. My license is most definitely Kaputt.
I hang my head in shame.
4/21 NIGHT SHOTS! New page! Check them out.
4/17 The car is finally back in my garage, all fixed up from the mess the shop made it. It runs like a gem, and pulls harder than ever. On the dyno yesterday, it made 303 WHP and 296 WTQ.
Have the graphs to prove it too.
4/15 Today I bought a set of Manny Z lateral control arms, which I will put on in a little while. They look nice, and I can't wait to feel this thing corner afterwards.
4/15 Dyno scheduled for Friday. Should be good.
4/10 After more than two months without my car, since it hasn't been working, It is running. The emanage and eo1 had to be reinstalled, and the wiring had to be redone, the shop that did it, had done a horrible job, and I will be in contact with them. The coilpack died as a result of the bad wiring, my spark plugs went because of detonation due to the emanage not working, and my fpr was useless. The total collateral from the poor installation is over $800. To say I'm angry would be the understatement of the century. I should have a new dyno this week.
3/20 New crash- not an srt.
3/6 More problems. Emanage not working, mopar stage one injectors can't flow enough fuel without it, 15.5 psi at 5000+ rpm equals an air/fuel ratio of 14.7, and only 277whp. More to come when it is reinstalled (I wish I could do electrical installs, It'd save a lot of error).
3/1 One day left until the dyno.
2/27
License Back, dyno set for 3/2.
Dying cat converter, broken flex pipe, poorly hooked-up tach adapter, and ecu gone awry added to delays.
2/8
License suspended, expect delays.
2/5
Finished a baseline dyno, at 12 psi it made 238 hp, more than the old turbo at 16 psi. At 13 psi, it made 264 whp, 270 tq, a pretty big difference for 1 psi boost. The A/F ratio was below 12 the entire time, just needs some fine tuning. If all goes well all the problems will be fixed this weekend, and I should have a dyno then.
1/30 I have the emanage, and the Greddy eo1 installed and working in my car, as well as the first perrin fuel rail. Period. Right now the car is running about 13-14 psi, and runs nicely. Dyno on saturday for baseline and af ratios.
1/22 The car is at MPJ for the fuel system and greddy eo1 installs, as well as the lower dogbone mm. New stuff came in, my SPEC stage 3i clutch.
1/18

The turbo is on, the wastegate leak fixed, and next week, I'm having my fuel pressure regulator and Walbro 255 pump put in, then the greddy Profec b eo1 boost controller. Today I had my Perrin front mount intercooler installed and my greddy catch can, and 235 Michelin Pilot sports. Pics on page two.
Turbo is fully installed now, just need an Upper Pressure Pipe. More pics on page two, and new tires too.

The turbo is installed!
The stock turbo, manifold, and o2 housing are all off, and ive plugged the coolant lines to the old turbo, and installed the AGP Log manifold. For some reason I can't get the stock bolts to fit, so im going to buy new studs instead and fit those to the rest of the turbo. If I had the time (I won't) tomorrow, I would be able to complete the install. My neighbor is machining the intercooler-turbo pipe, and I'm going to pick up a Perrin Front Mount Intercooler tomorrow. Next week will be interesting...
TURBO INSTALL HAS BEGUN, PICS ON 2ND PAGE!

The stocker has teeth.
12/31
The Greddy Type S BOV and Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump came in today, I'm waiting on the turbo, which should be here 1/5, and the FPR before I go to the shop for the installs. I also got my exhaust fixed (from the 2" resonators I had to put on before).
TURBO CAPABLE OF 500+ crank HP (550 WHP if well tuned)
SOON: T3/T4 60-1 Trim turbo. Ordered 12/22
The Clock is ticking, and in two weeks or so (maybe less, here's hoping) the SRT will be 450+ hp, capable of 500 whp. Besides the new turbo, I've ordered a Greddy type s bov, and a walbro fuel pump. Soon I should have an aeromotive FPR and an AFC II OR Psi-fi Powerpaq for fuel maps. Can't wait, I'll be updating as I go.

This is an example, not mine, pics when I get it.
Similarly modded SRT's get about 250-280 whp, which, to you nubs, is 300+ crank hp.
Engine Bay Today:
Stock Engine Bay:
Multiple new races as well, check out the kill section. Goodies await. And flamers, there's no reason to waste your time, these are no lies. So shut up before you even start.
Time to update again, it's been a month or so, and I've now three tickets with which to contend. I'm in deep shit. One is traffic-schooled, i.e. no problem, the other is the 18th for driving past midnight with others in my car, neither of which is legal for my provisional license. Then I was also going 82 in a 65 while my exhaust "emitted excess noise." The third ticket, thats where it gets good. Not pulled over for speeding, no, not for failing to signal, not for reckless or negligent driving, hell no. "Exhaust emits excess noise." The cops pull me over in front of a movie theater on Sunday night, thirty people staring at me as the cops go through my engine bay, looking for everything they can to cite me. Not terribly mean guys, but I'm sick of this shit. Final citations: "Illegal Intake" (I'll get that taken care of, it's as legal as anything), and illegal exhaust. He gave me an ultimatum too. Stock exhaust by Jan. 5 or I'm in trouble. I'm not going stock, there's no way i will, so looks like it's time to get a muffler.
Oh yea, and the MSD coilpack crapped out on me, so its back to stock, while I was putting in the stocker, with MSD wires, I gapped the plugs to .038, but no pics unfortunately. When I the magnaflow muffler in, (hopefully tomorrow) I'll try and get pics.
The MSD Coilpack and ignition wires I ordered are in the car. Pics on page two. Stock suspension is on page two as well.
Almost all the mods are in the car. The only two left to put in are the Underdrive pulley, and the 3" o2 housing. The AGP wastegate actuator is installed, and so are the Mopar stage three coilovers. Here are some pics, the rest are on page 2.
New pics of car!
- The lower fender gap in the back.
-And two random shots.

The ghetto jack:

New Kills!!! Subaru WRX STi, and an LS1 SS Camaro.
The biggest NorCal meet so far was saturday 10/4/03. It was a great meet, pics are on page 8, as well as two links. Check it out.

The dp took me over five hours to install, (noob) and on Friday, I had a custom 3" cat back put in, making it nearly a complete 3" turboback, the only thing missing is a bigger o2 housing.
Fuck! Scratched another rim. That's half of them, it was a three three cement rod in the street aimed at keeping people from turning left early, and it had no fucking reflectors on it. It's been a bad day so excuse the cussing.
This is the SRT-4. It's a pinto. It's a sweet ride. I know that's what you're thinking right now. This is a new first page, because I had a brain fart and deleted half the site.
This is me next to the family beater. Passats can run Ferraris.

Here're a few pics of the outside.

My rims are 18x7.5 Konig Verdicts on 215/35ZR18 Hankook K104S sport tires.
Here are the stock rims:
I lost the other one in 'Nam.

This is a pic I got off SRTforums.com, and its basically what I'm looking for in terms of Ride height.
My mods which are on the way (already ordered them) are a turboxs RFL-type Blow-off valve, turboxs manual boost controller, turboxs wastegate actuator, ATP turbo 3" downpipe, and a custom 3" mandrel bent catback exhaust.
I dynoed the car at DnR motorsports, and had the highest dyno of the day, for a total of 234 whp. That was with stock wastegate, so i could not hold more than 1 psi of extra boost, aem ram air, and stage one. As soon as I can, I'll get the chart up.
The most important semi-cosmetic mod I'm going to buy is the Mopar adjustable damping/height coilover set. Here is my SRT's ride height now:

And here is a photoshop of the 3" drop the coilovers will give me:

Driving is fun. I've probably set a record for getting pulled over as soon as I got my license. On June 18, the day after getting my license, I get pulled over. Not for running a red light. Not for going 75 in a 35. Not for pulling an illegal U-turn. But for all three. The cop let me off, even though he said I drive like a maniac. Funny how he said, 'I'll see you later,' that was disconcerting. I was following someone, so it wasn't my fault...
