Updated the pipes. Reclocked the turbo to eliminate the 180* bend. It looks better and frees up some space under the hood. I also re-routed some of the wires to eliminate some wiring. Makes for a cleaner looking engine bay. You can also see the paint job I did on the valve cover.

Deleted the VCT. I don't have adjustable cam gears so I just used a stock intake cam gear. I had to drill out the center of it with a 9/16" drill bit to get the new bolt in.

I redid the FMIC pipes to eliminate a tight bend. I also got some black couplings to use on the front to make it look better.

I re-installed the MSD DIS-2. I built a wire harness so that I could install the box under the passenger seat. This keeps the engine bay clutter down and also keeps the MSD box cooler.

New pipes. All done in aluminum now, no more rusted exhaust pipe on my set-up. Also, got a HKS SSQV for it.

You can also see that I'm using a cotton media air filter instead of the foam. I like this location more as well since it won't pick up road debris here.

The turbo is a T3 Super 60, internal gate at 8 psi (holds a little under 8 psi sometimes), and a 1g BOV recirculated. I have a SCT Xcal2, 42# injectors, SVT fuel pump, and a Cobra MAF to take care of the A/F needs. Well, here are the pics. When I have more cash to spend on it, I'm going to run new aluminum pipe and eliminate the 180* bend. I might even go to a blow-thru MAF set-up.
It is running a 14.9 at 96 mph. That is on the base tune and leaving the line from idle and not in boost. This is my daily driver, I'm trying not to break it.
I finally get a transmisson with a Phantom Grip installed and it looks like it was put together by a retarded, blindfolded, monkey. The roll pin holding 5th gear in was barely installed and damaged. The roll pin holding the reverse idler was missing. The ball and spring from the idler was missing. The reverse lockout wasn't installed and the detent plate looked screwed up to. Oh, wait until you see the pictures of the substitute roll pin he used in the differential. The very moment I install it, it didn't work. It wouldn't go into 2nd, 4th, or reverse. Hell, I had trouble getting the thing to stay in 3rd. So, a friend of mine helped me put one transmission together with parts from four different transmissons. So far, it is working fine and I still have my Phantom Grip. Now, on to the pictures of the one that failed.

The detent plate, minus the reverse lockout.

Here you can see some serious scoring marks in the differential housing and near the pinon gear. I wonder what could have caused that?

This is what caused all of that scoring. The pin for the differential saver was missing and the hole the pin goes in was ate up. The bolts on that hold the ring gear to the differential were damaged when this came out and got slung around the case before the magnet picked it up (thank God he installed the magnet) and kept it from doing anymore damage. In case you can't tell, that is an allen wrench. This Phantom Grip was installed by a GM master tech. No wonder thier cars are sucking so bad these days.
After we put the tranny in, it started acting crazy. Found this mess, it is the wires to my crank sensor, I guess they got a bit hot.

I installed a LED light bar in the trunk because it was a bit hard to see in there.

Got the lower charge pipe tucked away now. Had an exhaust shop build me a 180 bend for it.

Before the FMIC, it had a TMIC

Look what I just got.
Installed my Ractive strut tower bar.

Also got and installed my S/R cluster. I had to put my black bezel on it since it was painted red.

Repainted the calipers from yellow to black. Yellow just looked bad. Also installed cross-drilled rotors and KVR CF brake pads.

I finally got around to getting a dual cubby pod from nike on Team ZX2.

I also installed this dual pillar pod. I know the screws look bad, I'll get around to molding it someday. Notice how well the color matches? That is right from the can, Dupli-color VS6 Grey. It matches with a black undercoat.

I also just got the boost/vac gauge. I was going to wait until I managed to boost the car in a couple years, but I didn't want to look at the empty hole that long, and who knows if they would still make that style of gauge.
I've been wanting to do this for awhile. I made a vid because the pics wouldn't turn out good. The vid is only 1.1 mb.

New Hotshot header. Not to hard to install. Should have fit a little better for the price though. Excellent gains.
Top 30!

I'm #112
New rims!!! Sadly, I had to sell them.

Anderson has a ZX2 meet everyday.

Finally got a new clutch and my Findanza flywheel in. Here are some pics!
Before we start. Look at all the junk. In all, put in new lower ball joints, new tie-rod ends, ES tranny bushings, axle seals, Exedy clutch, Findanza flywheel, gutted cat, and I'm pretty sure there is a cat or two stuck in there somewhere.

A friend of mine that helped me out. He actually stayed and helped from 11 am Friday to 5:30 am Saturday. I got it done by 2 pm Saturday. I owe this guy a steak!
Can you belive this is tranny fluid? After 100,000 miles.
Got the tranny on the ground. That throw-out bearing is shot.

Clutch and Findanza installed. Had to grind a bit of the timing ring fastener off the flywheel to get it to clear the block. This item is well worth the gains.
Me after I dropped it off for the alingment. Do I look happy or what?!

MSD ignition with tach adapter. I had to sell this too. It will be missed.
Eibach springs and Tokico struts. Just a 1" drop. The handling is great.
New shifter.
Nice ass! Filled in the Escort ZX2 part on the bumper! This was yellow, but it looked bad so I repainted it.
Great website and source of info.
115VAC anywhere anytime.
How I have 115VAC.
I got bored and painted the 3rd brake light so it would look like this to everyone who loses!
Under the hood.
Independent fog light mod.

6-speaker stereo.
Pair of Sony 800 watt 12's and a Sony 800 watt amp. It sounds good enough for me.
Took this out.
And put this in.
Looks stock.
Underbody pic of exhaust.
This was my wife's car. Damn Ford Tranmissions are junk.
I got her in the ZX2 family now! She loves her car.
Fog light cover.
The bunny rabbit. Since I'm allergic to cats and dogs, we got one as a pet. The little fucker is fast. Sounds like a horse race when he runs around in here. You wouldn't think 5 pounds 5 ounces could make that much noise.
