Page 4 - a little about me

1/13/04 - Just got this page up and running so right now it is the bare minimum. Updates will come periodically.

3/14/04 - Its been an expensive month. Started off w/ getting a nail in my rear tire and shreading it. Go to get it fixed and find pretty much the rest of my tires are shot (one actually has some radial sticking through!). Buy four new tires but then a week later, the fucking hub arm attached to the clutch cable actually snaps half-way off. WTF, figured out it was from a worn out clutch cable combined w/ the strain from the new clutch. So, take a $20 part and require dropping the tranny and it was $250 repair. Oh well, I'll be getting my tax return soon...

3/23/04 - Finally got everything in order from the mess earlier in the month. I decided to get some Falken tires to replace the old ones, took the car out for a spin in the mountains and was impressed. I also decided to bite the bullet and upgrade my intake. Currently I am running an HKS unit but have always kicked myself in the ass for not spending the extra $50 for a CAI. Hotshot just released a new generation of CAI so I decided it was the time to upgrade. Hopefully I'll receive it by next week

Additionally, the fact Nissan never added an oil pressure gauge on the 200SX has always pissed me off so I decided to pick up an Autometer gauge off eBay. I figured what the hell and bought a water temp. on to match. Unfortunately, Nissport currently does not have the adaptor I need to run the units so they will be sitting on my desk for a couple weeks.

4/21/04 - Right now my car is in pieces in the garage. I installed the Autometer gauges and overall I am impressed. I had a small leak w/ the oil pressure gauge but that was fixed. I just bought a JWT ECU from someone but I had to send my stock unit so the car isn't going anywhere for a couple of days. Took out the HKS intake and installed the HS CAI but haven't had a chance to test it out yet. Had fun tearing through the engine bay w/ the reciprocating saw although I managed to snap a blade (back to Home Depot). In the mean time, the car should be up and running this weekend. Once the new parts are installed and the car is clean I plan on taking some new pics.

5/1/04 - Updated pics. I found a good deal on a used Unorthodox Racing lightened crank pulley. Currently I'm saving up to buy the water pump pulley also and then I'll install both.

8/26/04 - I'm finally back in town from a long extended vacation. Tomorrow I am placing an order for the UR water pump pulley along w/ a long oil line for the Autometer gauge. The current line is too short and the tension over time popped the oil line out (spraying oil everywhere). Additionally, I picked up a pair of Motivational Engineering rear shock mounts.

10/16/05 - As you can see it has been over a year since I've updated anything. Unfortunately, there is nothing really to report. Having a fulltime job, a newborn, and a wife in grad school sucks all the time and money. Plus, my car has recently been broken into and fuckers trashed the interior. Right I'm in the process of getting everything fixed. :P
