Whats NEW---
Well I just a Garrett T3 turbo + intercooler for the GSX

But before that goes in a 5 speed manual transmission will be installed as well as a new 4 bolt main 3800 series II block. to get ready for the turbo.

I got the rad fan all worked out had to put the fan out front along with a new tranny cooler.

Got the exausht today just got to put it on the car. going with a 40 series flowmaster and 2004 GTP tips

The ENGINE was started today and I have to say it is awesome. Did not want to run right at first. Had to put in fuel injectors out of a northstar 4.6L engine witch will allow more fuel to enter the engine in the 3.8L.
NOW THIS IS ALL ENGINE, NO ROOM FOR OTHER THINGS, WELL MAYBE NOS......???

Just have to get a rad fan installed now. No room in the engine compartment so i have to get a sim fan and put it out front. look at the room that i don't have for one.

I had to add an idler pully to make the belt miss the engine mount. Cause this engine in it's normal car does not have a mount there.

Need to turn the ignition modual and coil packs to get them to fit in place.

Still working on the throttle bracket. The transmission that I am useing has a kick down cable. so i had to add is to this engine. I have the accelerator cable hook up just the kick down now.

Here is the intake and head match ported.

The lower intake runners smoothed out.

The tuneport intake ready to go onto the engine.

And lets not forget the cold air intake.

This is a drawing of what it is going to look like.

Whats going into the Project GSX---
Modifided Engine

-A 3.8L is going to be put in with H.O. pistons raising compression do about 10:1
-Heads from a 3.8L ported and polished
-Tuned Port intake from a 3.8L polished runners
-mach port heads, intake, and exhaust manifold
-many more goodies to come
Modifided Tranny
-Shift kit
-Final drive out of a 2.5L tanny
-1800 stall converter

More will be done this is the first stage.

Hey, from a distance I might mistake your car for a mustang. Nice Job.

well there is a differance. the 3.8l is a taller engine. taller as in the the cylinder heads are further apart. so the engine will be wider in the frame. i had to move my rad fan because i lost the room. but watch out because the series 1 and series 2 engines are totally different. send me your email and i can send you more info.
