I bought this truck in Aug 2001 for a new project vehicle. We started by adding a 6 inch Rusty's Off-Road suspension lift along with a 3 inch body lift. After the lift was installed the truck was sent to the paint shop where 12 coats of Dupoint acrylic black was applied to give you that "Dear God I'm gonna puke" feeling when you look into it. Next on the list was rims and tires, we went with Enkei 15x10 rims with Mickey Thompson 35x15.50 Baja Claws. Then I had the seats recovered in factory style leather, installed a complete Alpine system including 15 inch subs, and 5% window tint.

The engine was the largest project. It is a AMC 360 bored .60 over, heads are shaved .30, TRW pistons, roller rockers, roller cam, ported/polished, Holley carb, Edelbrock polished performer intake, braided hoses, Magnaflow mufflers, and enough chrome from Auto Zone they should have me on the Christmas card mailing list.

Console taken from a 1984 XJ6 Jaguar and fitted to the Jeep. Console was cut down to fit floor pan then varnished wood was used to replace the top section of the console. The console was recovered to match the leather seats. The shifter is a Hurst V-Matic 2.
