This is my 2003 Chevy Silverado. It isn't an SS but will dominate most SS's on the road. It is my show truck and contrary to what most people think, I do drive this truck - a lot. Everything on this truck was built to drive. This truck is NOT all show and no go. The truck has never been on a trailer and I will NOT do anything to it that will make it a trailer queen.
Engine:
Intercooled Maguson Radix Charger (polished), JBA titanium ceramic coated headers, JBA blue power cables, JBA Evol catback exhaust, fully polished Wrangler NW 220A alternator (externally regulated), one-off K&N intake (fully polished with built-in 1/8" bung for Nitrous injection, Superchips programmer, Nitrous Express kit with a custom painted and pinstriped 7 pound bottle.
Bodywork:
All painted BMW Carbon Black (jet black base with blue and silver metallic) with graphics and pinstriping by Steve Vandemon using House of Kolors paints. Shaved doors handles, 3rd brake light, GM Parts SS front fascia, Custom cleared headlights, 4300k Phillips HID headlights, Street Scene 'Speed Grilles', Street Scene chrome bowtie, Street Scene Cal-Vu mirrors w/LED signals, Painted Tahoe handles, Medium Tint, Shaved tailgate handle and rollpan by Sir Michaels. Trenz billet antenna. All body work done by Anaheim Prestige in Placentia, CA and Steve Vandemon of Absolute Custom Paint.
Interior/Audio:
Nu Image dash cover painted to match the truck. Smoothed and paint-matched dash. Trenz door panel inserts, billet shifter, billet door sills. Nu Image billet gauge surround with platinum gauges. Dakota Digital air gauges, Dakota Digital tire pressure gauges, Dakota Digital boost gauge, and Dakota Digital clock. 9-switch air controller. Full Enduratex visions and suede interior custom-stitched by Stitchcraft and custom center console and amp-rack by South Coast Speed and Sound. Clarion flip-up 7" widescreen LCD TV (touchscreen) unit with built-in iPod/DVD/mp3/TV tuner, Orion 1000W 10" subwoofer, Orion 800 watt amp, Orion components with crossovers, Directed wiring and fuses, and Orion battery bracketry. Custom center console and amp enclosure and all work done by South Coast Speed and Sound in Orange, CA.
Suspension:
Done by GO EZ Customs (www.goezcustoms.com): FBSS Airbag setup with Airlift airbags in front with relocated shock mounts. KP Components 6-link rear with Slam Specialties RE-7 airbags. 9" monster step notch with custom bridge. 2 5-gallon Air Lift tanks. 2 Air Zenith compressors. 1/2" DOT airline. 1/2" electric Slam Specialties Stealth valves. GO EZ also tubbed the rear and installed a notch cover, which was then completely Line-X'd by Marcel Venable at Huntington Beach Line-X.
Wheels/Tires/Brakes:
F - 22x8.5" Intro Ram 6, fully-polished and clearcoated. 265/35/22 Nitto 420S
R - 24x10" Intro Ram 6, fully-polished and clearcoated. 295/35/24 Nitto 420S.
For braking, the truck has the Baer Alumasport set up featuring Baer 2-piston calipers with 2-piece 14" rotors, cross-drilled, slotted and zinc-washed front and rear.
