Stage 1 Modifications - Interior
The first thing to go was the stock head unit. In it's place now sits a single DIN Alpine CDA-9815 MP3/WMA CD player and factory pocket. This head unit produces 27 watts RMS hence much better sound from the stock speakers and possibly a much shorter life span too! =)
Also while the new head unit was being installed I also got an Ignited starter button fitted in the stock cigarette location with no cutting required! The only down side is that although the button can be illuminated, I chose not to do it as a light bulb is used instead of a LED. I also relocated the cigarette lighter under the dash just incase I ever have a need for it.
