SicS15's 1998 GMC S15 Pick-Up

This is my Soloma...I bought this truck back in 99 and have been customizing it ever since...Thanks to Jason, owner of Area51customs, we were able to drop this truck on its nuts...Its heavily modified to lay frame on 20s!! To get the front end to fully layout, had to remove the inner fenders and relocate everything!!!...Had to tub the firewall, notch the spring pocket for the bags and notch the frame for the tie rods. We ran AirRide Technologies upper and lower tubular control arms along w/ their shock relocator kit. If you keep the stock a-arms, you will have to notch the frame for the lower control arms and have to pie-cut the stock upper arms...Had to relocate the shocks/battery/computer/wiring harness/fuse box/clutch master/coolant overflow and some other minor stuff...Also ditched the heat/ac/cc/abs/brake booster/master cylinder/clutch cylinder and coolant tank...I bought a new 7" mini booster/master cylinder from ECI and comp cams vaccum booster to keep power brakes and a wilwood clutch resivor for clearance issues and a wilwood adjustable proportioning valve since the abs was ditched to make room for the engine driven compressor...as far as the rear goes, it was back halfed using Roadsurfer "mandrel-bent" frame rails. The frame was completely boxed and the new bridge and cross members were made from round tubing. The jegs fuel cell was mounted to the rear crossmembers and AirRide F9000s/Hal billet shocks support and dampen the rear.

This is a pick of the front end tore down and the other is a pic of the firewall tubbed and the computer relocated...its hard to see the tub in the pic, but it turned out very nice.

These are the AirRide Technologies upper and lower tubular control arms with Slam Specialties RS62 bags...The left is up and the right is down...:D

This is the ECI 7" mini Booster/Master cylinder set-up which was needed to keep power brakes...The 20s made contact with the stock booster, so out it went!!! The Wilwood clutch cylinder is located above the driver's wheel. Its a smaller, shorter resivor that allowed just enough clearance (no its not touching the tire...:D). Once bodydropped, it will have to be relocated into the dash. The right pic is the fuse box relocation.

The left is a pic of the triangulated 4-link suspension...My truck had already been notched twice before for axle clearance...so instead of going for the third times the charm trick, Jason and I decided it would be way cooler to just go ahead and Back Half the rear frame...check out those sexy ass mandrel bent frame rails...:)
