SOLD!

Here is my ultra sweet, one of a kind, 1972 Vintage Bmw 2002.
First of all, the is car has the original engine with only 58,000 miles. The engine has been upgraded with performance camshafts, dual sidedarft weber carbureators, port and polish, bosch spark plugs and bosch electrical wiring. I also added a strut bar and foam insulation on the inside of the hood.

For the xterior, there has been a new $4000 paint job. The color is a dark metallic blue and white pin stripes which have been painted on and are not decals. This was full bady paint job where as the pin stripes run form the front to rear lip. I also upgraded the rims to 14" 2 tone alpina's with high performance Falken tires. I also added a whole new Ansa sport free-flow exhaust including the resonator and muffler.

The interior is pretty special also, including the real wood MOMO steering wheel, custom wood center console, alpina e-brake cover, and Recaro sport seats. The rear seat is all roignal including the inner door panels and are in excellent condition, i replaced the old chrome foil trim with a fresh black carbon fiber adhesive as well as added some on the dash too. It seems to me that there has been a short shifter installed because it looks alot shorter than most 2002's, topping it off with a nice wood shifter with a bmw emblem.

I just re-did the trunk....wrapped the original floor boards in an almost leather feel cinnamon vinyl.....future mods to the trunk will include replacing the spare tire well which i already have...and either gettin a battery relocation tray or playing with some fiber glass and putting some nice sounds in there?!?!

If you have any comments or suggestions, or both, jot them down in my guestbook.
So here are the pics, first page including all the recents pictures, and the second page including all the rest.

Notice the rust free shock towers and orignal car jack. Also the new shock dust cover (its always the little things that count)

Recently I have re-finished the engine compartment and have posted up some before and after shots!

All the engine upgrades were purchased from Bavarian Autosport. The upgrades include 8mm high performance spark plug wires, Bosch spark plugs, Bosch blue coil, Distributer cap, sidedraft chrome filters, and a valve breather filter.
I have also refinished the valve cover and replaced the cap with the original one. A pic is also shown of the new header and performance camshafts.

Here are the pics of the new conversion HID headlights and Alpina e-brake cover.
