Welcome to my site!
This is my '95 Oldsmobile Achieva which I've owned for the last twelve years. It has proven to be a great car and still looks amazing with 168,000 miles!

I've had this car since I was 16 and I love everything about it. Being a huge GM fan, and my father having about 3 classic Olds ranging from a '71 Cutlass to a '68 442, I had to have an Oldsmobile! It's not a stealth fighter in acceleration, but it holds its ground when the time comes. It still rides great and has incredible handeling.

Mods: Bra front end cover, tinted windows, dashboard cover, Sony Xplod CD Player, K&N air filter

I've never had trouble with this car until recently. Once it hit about 100K the head cracked and cost me a fortune to fix! ($1700) Then about ten thousand miles later, a switch inside the transmisson went out wich caused the car to die every time I came to a stop. Come to find out the transmission wasn't shifting back into first after being in a higher gear. That, needless to say, was hard to get to since it was way down inside the trans. Other than that, nothing has gone wrong and it's been a perfect car! I'd recomend one to anybody.

*(Update)*
I recently had to put my faithful friend to rest. I'm in my senior year of college and it just got to the point where I couldn't trust her to go long distances (back and forth from TX and OK). She still has alot of life left in her, but needs a little work to make it a fuitfull one. The oil pump went out (or is about out) so I can't keep any oil pressure. Also, I think the head gasket might be blown again. Right now, she's parked at home behind the shop untill I can one day get the funds to bring her back. I know that most would not spend that much to revive an old worn out car, but I love that thing!

But, the good news is, I got an amazing car to replace her. A '97 Z28 Camaro. It is in perfect condition with only 56K miles on it. It's a 30th Aniv. Edition that's red with black stripes and a six speed. It really amazing to have such a car, and it's a huge step from the 4cyl in the Olds to a huge 350 V8! Anyways, I'll post up some pictures soon.

Update 06/14/07
Well, my parents have run into troubles with their cars and have been forced to start driving my Achieva again. It still has most of it's problems, but the oil pressure has seemed to solve/repair itself for the time being. It still runs lower on pressure than I'd like, but it doesn't bottom out now.
Honestly, the car looks like crap. My parents do not take near as good of care of it as I would, but I live too far away to take care of it for them. It sat beside the barn for a year before they started driving it, so the window tint is all faded and pealing.
But I promise, the moment I get a place to bring it home and the money to restore it, I will.

I dream about what to do to it all the time. I don't know whether it would be best to just overhaul the Quad and add a turbo or GM supercharger, or to go radically different and put in a 2.0 S/C Ecotech. I'd get alot more power w/ the Ecotech but it would seriously be alot of work, that I'm not quite sure I could do it myself. My wife thinks I'm crazy for keeping the car (sometimes I agree) but it's something she'll have to deal with!
