EXTERIOR

Ok so I wanted a completely blacked out truck, but back when they made this truck, the black option was only just being released. It was only and option for the sport trucks. I was ticked! I hated having chrome on it. We wanted it all black with the red and black bump strips. Well they did not make the red and black bump strips for the Dually?s. Dad opted against the chrome rims that were offered, so the truck came with grey wheels and black center caps.

INTERIOR

So we got the top of the line Silverado package. No leather, this was a truck for horse shows! The interior fabric choices were burgundy, blue, or silver. Yikes! Grey would get too dirty at horse shows, and blue, uh, nope! So Burgundy it was. It would have been great on a blacked out truck with the red/black bump strips. Bench seat so we could fit more people!

ENGINE & SUSPENSION

The truck is a 3500, was powered by a 7.4L, 454 big block. It pulled the trailer like it was not even there. It got the beefed up suspension, towing package, & of course, Dual rear wheels. We got it with an extended cab and bed. We almost got it in a 4X4 package. I really wish we had. It would have been 6X6. Hehehe!

Wow raif that seriously sucks, irocbirdbuilder from tgo, i love camaros but theres a specail place in my heart for black duallys although i prefer mine slammed on airride a black duallys cool either way, not having to good of luck with that truck, can relate to your first wreck my dad got hit in his 80 Gmc 6' lift black with huge chrome drop center bumper, lady said she couldnt see the little taillights, cop said how did you miss the giant black truck lol, teh exhaust actaully peeled two paths up her hood and her front bumper stopped on the tires keeping it from putting the bumper through the winshield.
