Hi, my name is William Black, and i live in Logansport, IN. I'm 18 years old, and this is my 1991 Custom Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, not the usual 1.8 most people custom out. I've been working on for about 3 months now. Just got it running finally. I bought it for just 500$ off a buddy of mine in town. He blew the engine, it was hit by a deer in the driver quarter. I had alot of work that needed done to it, but the hard work has payed off. I hope to make a carrer out of custom work some day.
Here is a picture of the driver's side. As you can see it has the gas tank remove and reloated inside the hatch. As with the molding, antanna, and windshield washers have been shaved clean. Got my enkei RF1 16" for i didn't want to add much weight. Converted the front end to a 92-94 front end. Cant wait intil i get my FMIC to fill that hole in the front bumper.
Here is just another picture of the car that shows a good picture of the molded sideskirts and rear bumper. I need to put that stock spoiler on the back. Looks to empty.
Here is a picture of my rebuilt engine using new 95 pistons. Has a new crank, the rods were shot peened and everythign checked for cracks and any damages. I got a manual boost controller set at 18 PSI. New 2g ported manifold, with ported 1g O2 housing. An ACT 2600 clutch. As for the exhaust I got 3" from turbo back, with a APEXi N1 muffler. I took out all emissions and the AC. Recently i've put a B&M fuel preasure regulator, 255 walbro fuel pump, and a S-AFC. Just ordered my BR580, IRC FMIC, and 660 injectors.
Hope to have it up and going if a few weeks.
