RECENT PROGRESS CUSTOM SOUND SYSTEM

Just finished up my custom sound system.. The stereo has been lacking for a while and was time to upgrade to a custom stereo. I've never done audio stuff before and I thought that this is the time to give it a shot..

67greengt's 1967 Ford Mustang

Started off by making a completely custom trunk floor. For those who don't know, the mustangs trunks are not one uniform level, so I made pieces that fit in tight and make for a level trunk floor. After this was done I started building the custom box to house the two Rockford 8" P2 Punch's. I went small on the subs due to lack of room and also because I listen to rock and wanted a small crisp sounding sub. I made the box to fit tight between the trunk hinges making for less chance of rattling etc. Afer the box was done and wired, I started on the amp rack.. pretty simply design: I was going for a clean and simple look. Lastly were the side pieces, I didn't want to see any painted pieces besides the hinges. Overall I achieved the look I'm after and more importantly got an awesome sounding custom stereo that I built myself.. Here's some pics.. enjoy!

I'm building a 67 fastback, and have to do everything you did. What did you start with first when theres nothing really good to weld to? I hop mine turns out half as good as yours did.
