This is my baby, its a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS
I bought this car for 21,000 loaded back in 2001 and have loved every moment I have owned it since. It was one of the last ones before subaru switched to the bug eye body style so they basicly threw every option on the thing. Leather interior etc.

The car is a daily driver with 68,000 miles on it so keeping it looking good is a challenge. No its not turbo, but thats ok with me. My last car (Eclipse GSX) was turbo and after blowing that thing out I had had enough of forced induction for a while. While its not a WRX it IS still an impreza, the rally bred chassis on these things make the car handle amazing, and of coarse AWD launches are the shit. This thing will absolutley rail around corners. It has been a great car for the 2.5 years I have owned it, so I would recommend one of these little pocket rockets to anyone.

Most modifications I have done untill recently were performance only, with exception of wheels....but those are arguable. Speaking of wheels, I installed 17 inch OZ Racing Superleggeras. Each wheel only weighs about 15 pounds each! pretty light for a 17 and Z rated Kumho Ecsta 711s. This really tightned up handling in corners.

I also did a couple of bolt ons including a AEM short ram intake.

Apexi N1 full cat back.

and various others. I dont race the car and these things dont really make it a "Fast" car, but they were definatly power additions and the car runs much better. The fact is I enjoy wrenching on the car with my friend Donny to see what kinds of improvments we can do. We experimented with several suspension setups, finally deciding on H&R springs and Bilstein dampers which lower it about 1.5 inches in the rear and 1.8 in the front. Before I ran a coilover setup and it sat so low I had to pull the car onto 2x4s just so I could get a floor jack under it. The most recent performance additions are shown below...I think the pictures speak for them selves pretty well.

Im running about a 40 shot.
Just recently I started doing some cosmetic mods..nothing too major. a chin spoiler, some glow guages,

and a carbon fiber guage besil. Looks alot nicer than stock. Others are clear corners, clear bumper lenses. I also did a 100 watt headlight conversion (heavier wiring and new relays) and I have to say I can see great, but these lights PISS PEOPLE OFF, so I'll probably take them out soon. Future things I have lined up are a pair of lunar series Autometer pillar guages (A/F ratio and EGT) to monitor the motor better while spraying and a stiffer rear sway bar to get it some rear end bias.

update:
Added a pair of autometer Lunar series A pillar guages.
A/F and EGT to monitor the motor under Nitrous use.
