This is my head unit. Its a Sony CDX 5090 from 1995. Im SERIOUSLY in need of a new one since i have about 50 burned cds and this wont play them. Heres a pic of the console that I fabricated from an old oak tabletop using a drill and a Sawzall. It came out pretty good but im looking to have one professionally made when i get a new head unit.(the gauges arent hooked up yet but they look good!) another pic of the console(notice the cb is mounted where the radio should be becuz when i first installed the cd player i cut a hole in the dash which ive regretted ever since i did it but this helped fix that little problem) This is my rear deck that i also built myself with plywood and covered it with what used to be a fuzzy seat cover. The speakers here are a pair of Pioneer TS-TRX40's that used to have their own little box but i took the back of the box off giving the impression of plate speakers. Here is my kenwood sub. Not too bad considering i paid 5 bucks for it at a yard sale. it sounds pretty good, too.(more pics of this on page 4) Heres my kick panel on the pass. side with the pioneer 4x6 speakers built into it. Heres the drivers side kick panel;the parking brake cuts REALLY close to the speaker when i depress it so i have to be careful. the kick panels turned out pretty good, also.
Heres a random pic-
heres my dice and "That New Car Smell" air freshener.

Nice ride! My Century is a 1977 4-door. I love these cars! Nice to see another one with the same body style.

I'm back - thought of some other things. I'm new to this whole web thing. Through the years I've owned several vehicles that I wish I still had. '74 Nova 2dr - 400 small block - 400tranny - chrome rally wheels (think stock Camaro) - brown sparkle paint with black vinyl top - Pioneer tape deck (this was in 1981-1982). 1946 Willy's Jeep CJ2A - reconditioned army - still had the field radio hook-up diagrams on metal plates attached to the dash - gun mount in the shorty bed (.50 caliber?) - 289 from an old mustang - 4 spd trans - Ford 9 inch rear end - International lockout hubs - vacuum operated wipers - no stereo - never should've sold it. 1972 Dodge Polara big-block - fun cruiser. First car was a 1970 Ford Maverick I bought from my dad when I was 14 for $500 (1977). 2dr yellow w/black stripes - straight six - 3 on the tree. I could go on for a while; I've owned 20 or so. I'm in the middle of building a 1964 Studebaker Commander. I'll figure out how to put pictures on here. Hope I didn't bore you. Later.

Nice ride! I just bought my daughter a '73 Century for her first car. It is also a low-mileage Luxus - 49,000 orig. - 350-2bbl - Auto - A/M radio - P/W - PDL - A/C - PSeats - Cruise - Analog clock. I haven't done anything except a tune-up yet, no pix either. I'll stay in touch.
