UPDATE 11/26/03:
I have finished what will probably be the last project of the year for the Trans Am (its too cold without a garage heater!) I added some braided hoses and a bigger air cleaner. Check out the pics!

This car was originally equipped with the 4.9L turbo charged V8.

Very clean, good engine choice and great job on the swap. Now get over to www.americangraffiti.biz, get an AC blockoff cover, and lose that AC suitcase under the hood!!

Hey, got your link from TAC. Just wondering, do you have the actual name or paint code for that color? My 79 had that same color on it when I got it, and I really like it. If you check out my 79 you can see it in the first few pics before I primed the car. Thanks!
