I made this page in honor of my Max. I hope that you enjoy it.

Here are some wide pics of my car. I think they give a good overall view of my ride. I painted my brake calipers in September 2003. Hopefully I wll be able to add some pictures soon.

These are shots of my sound system set up. They are 12" Diamond Audio M3 speakers. The amp is a Memphis 400 watt and the little black box under the dash board is a remote gain control. This allows me to accurately control the bass coming from the subs. I leave the factory speakers set to 0 bass and just use my sub set up for the bass. The set up won't win any awards but it sounds good to me. The car comes stock with a BOSE system and already has a powered sub in it. My newest addition is an Alpine head unit. I had it installed just after Christmas 2003. It looks and sounds great.

These are the chrome door sills that I bought online. They just poped in after pulling out the factory ones. I think they add that extra little touch to the car.

These are shots of my Stillen front strut tower brace. It helps to stabilize the front end of the car when cornering. I also have a Stillen rear sway bar but I didn't get under the car to take a picture of it. The sway bar helps keep the rear of the car from producing body roll while cornering. I think that these two easy bolt on's accesories are a great addition to the car and are the best ways to improve handling aside from lowering the car.

These are various shots of my new wheels and tires and the effects of my new lowering springs. The wheels are Mille Miglia Evo5. They are 18x8. The tires are Nitto NT-555 245/40/18. The springs are H&R. These new tire provide amazing traction and blow away the stock Bridgestone Potenza RE92's that came with car. By lowering the car my handling has improved incredibly. I highly recomend getting lowering springs. It is the best way I know of to inprove the cars handling. I can corner almost twice as fast now. I think that the wheels give the car a great look without being too flashy. The last picture in this group of wheel pics show the drop on the rear wheels. It is just over a inch lower now all the way around.

These last few pics show the clear side markers I put in. I made sure I put the original bulb colors back in so at night they appear as stock. I didn't want to run into any problems with having the wrong colors in.
I also have put Piaa Xtreme White lights in various places in the car. They include the fog lamps, reverse lamps, rear licence plate lamps, front clearence lights, overhead dome light, and inside door lights.

Well it has been a couple of years since my last update. I took a brake from playing with the Max. It's now July 2005 and I just installed the FrankenCar Performance intake kit with the APEXi cone filter. It sounds amazing and does add to the cars power. I recommend using the APEXi filter they offer and not the K&N filter they offer. The oil on the K&N caused me some problems and I had to upgrade to the APEXi. It all worked out though, and I am happy.

It has now been a number of months since I last did anything with my car. The mod bug hit again about a month ago (April 2006). I didn't like the way my car was feeling over the bumps, so I have finally bought some new struts. I picked up a set of Tokico HP Blues. Seems like they did the trick. While I was having them installed, I discovered how bad the hole in my exhaust was. Sooo, now I have the Cattman Catback Exhaust setup on my car. Man does it sound great. It isn't loud like a rice burner, but does have a nice deep growl to it, espically under heavy acceleration. The unfortunate thing is that the mechanics who installed the exhaust created some problems with my rear sway bar, so that had to be removed. Oh well, it isn't the end of the world.
