This is the mighty beast I purchased on the 10th of May 2003 for a whopping $25 US.

It is an Australian 4 Door Valiant "Regal" sedan -- the valiants of this era had the option of coming with a 265 Hemi --- 4.3 litre straight 6 -- originally a truck engine. Base model had 168KW and 354NM, and the top of the range charger 265 had 220KW and 433NM of torque. This car is a rolling shell so I will be purchasing a 265 once the bodywork is done.

Bought it off some old guy that looked like George W Bush and "spent 3 years doing rust removal" on it. If you class jamming as much body filler as you can over rust spots and hoping noone notices it as rust removal, then yeah, he did rust removal... I took these pictures after most of the body filler/rust has been cut out.

Total Costs to date - $US in (brackets):
Car: $50 (~$30)
Towing Cost: $40 (~$25)
Sandpaper, Body Filler, Grinding Tools, Fish Oil, Degreaser, Primer: $60 (~$35)
Air Compressor tank: Free from nextdoor neighbour (Going to hook up a couple of $20 tyre inflators to fill it up).

My other optimistic aim is to have the car complete and licensed for a total cost of $3000AUS ($1650 US). This includes the purchase of needed tools.
