white led interior

------------------------------------

i ordered 50 15000 mcd 5mm white leds and 50 5000 mcd 3 mm white leds off eBay and decided to improve the interior lights (regular yellowish filament bulbs). before completely removing the units containing the bulbs i would recommend using a single led + resistor to test for the polarity and marking it on the unit so you know which end is which. so here it is:

aznsap's 1995 Nissan Maxima how i did the courtest lights (in the door). you can google up 'led calculator' to figure out what ohm resistors you need depending on how many led's are in your array.
aznsap's 1995 Nissan Maxima test fitting of the pc board i cut out in the map light. i had to do some dremeling and use one of the stock screws to hold the pcb in place.
aznsap's 1995 Nissan Maxima back of the pcb. keep the soldering clean and make sure the contacts are firm. i recommend using flux and running the + and - in opposite directions.

aznsap's 1995 Nissan Maxima back of dome light, i left the metal shield thing on and just drilled holes in the side of the plastic to run the wires out
