On April 15th 2003, I was 17 years old, and I purchased this 1999 Chevrolet Silverado Z71. I finally paid it off in July 2005. This Silverado has a 5.3 V8. I have done many exterior, engine, and interior modifications to my truck. I purchased this truck for a daily driver, especially in the winter, and to install some accessories to make my truck stand out from the rest. I plan on doing many other things to this truck as the money arises, but for right now I am a poor college student. Thank you for looking at my truck and make sure to comment in the guestbook. Any feedback is welcome.

Jon, I didn't know you had so much performance stuff done to your truck. We will have to chat later! By the way nice clean daily driver if I haven't told you so already. I don't know maybe your a chrome guy but have you ever considered taking off the chrome kit from the sides of the pickup and pulling off the trim as well? I think it would make for a super clean look, idk just a thought. Later dude

really? well did the headers cause any "check engine" lights to come on, or because of not havin heat shields, did it make anything too hot?? I have a SuperChips FlashPaq, and I love it!! I went from 13mpg to 14.6mpg(that includes tire hight recalibrating) well that sounds like just what I'm wanting!! my blue truck sounds like an old muscle car, but I'm not completely satisfied.. I would love to have the sound of a mustang GT!! deep rumble says it all!! thats what I want!! alot of ppl get "sounds good" and "loud" mixed up, just because it blows your eardrums dont mean it sounds good!! lol If you ever take a vid an put it on Youtube let me know!! I would love to hear it!! Thanks for all the info!! Bryan

well I was thinkin it would be better on mpg cause the motor dont hav2 spin the fan at all! what ab your true duels, do they flutter any when you take off, n pop when you rev over 4,000rpm? ..my 2000 Silverado has true duels, 2 Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers with 3 inch tips, and without cats. and it flutters n pops, but somebody said that it's because of not havin cats..
