These are my first carbon fiber pieces. Yes, it's real carbon fiber!...for a good price of course.
Here it is a little zoomed in. The difference from the stock black window pillar color is pretty subtle, but still noticable especially the reflections.
WARNING: Carbon fiber really can give you splinters! I read about this, but I didn't take it seriously enough. Use gloves. Cutting carbon fiber creates somewhat of a rough edge, so be very careful. And sanding is recommended.
