I've tried Piaa's, Sylvania Silverstars, and Nokya's. Here you will see the Silvania Silverstars. Pretty white, pretty bright! They were nice and still haven't blown, but I was looking for something with a bit more color, a bit more contrast....
Here's the Nokya's! A lot more colorful eh? Which do you like better? Nokya's are cheaper, that's for sure. About $15 a pair! compared to the $40 a pair for Sylvania Silverstars, and $54-74 for Piaa's. Are they better than the Sylvania Silverstars and PIAAS? You tell me. Let me know in the guestbook. WARNING: Bulbs have been known to burn the bulb harness. I've seen it with Nokya's. Use at your own risk.
Another set of Nokya's, but this time they're yellow! Inspired by Lexus IS 300 and GS 300. It definitely stands out from the crowd. I switched the colors from purple to yellow b/c the purple ones kept blinding drivers that were ahead of me. No driver really complained about the purple ones, but I can just imagine the glare. These yellow ones should be much better. Now that I've uploaded the pics and comparing the two, I kinda like the purple better! What do you think? Leave me a message in the guestbook.
Before I installed these lights the guy at the store gave me the wrong bulbs. They were made by Hyper and he claimed that they were the same company that make Nokya bulbs. But the wattage turned out to be too high. No Nokya's in stock. I couldn't get a refund. He only issued me an exchange. So here's what I bought.
The emblem fits perfectly over the glove compartment handle!
