"1988 M6- The luxury M car."

"0 to 60 in 6.0 seconds and it will wail all the way to 160 mph!"
This is my 1988 M6. Car is Black with grey leather interior. Wheels are 17 inch Dinan 3-piece lightweight rims. Tires are Bridgestone Potenzas 255/45/ZR17's. The body kit is by Zender, I'm not much of a body kit guy, but this one ties the body lines of the 6 together really well. The car has been lowered by Dinan, and the SLS (Self Leveling System) system was eliminated Yeah, its sorta cool, but very expensive to maintain, and also adds the weight of an already heavy car. The motor is this ///M car is a 3.5 liter inline/slant 6. Same motor that was put into the M5 of the same era. It makes 256hp, and 243+ Lb/Ft of torque stock. I have installed a Dinan performance chip, a high flow catyletic converter, and Stebro Muffler. Now its pushing 310+hp, and 290+ torque. Not to shabby for a 1988. Now for the pictures of the M6. Opinions, question, compliments welcome!
Body kit looks very nice on the M6.
Cant have a black car without dark tint!
Back of car, not to much to tell its an M6 except the badge, and rear spolier. Remember the body kits was added later. If not for the kit it would look very much like a 635.
The motor, one of the most impressive parts of the car. Individuial throttle bodies for every cylinder, and dual headers. Cylinders 1-2-3 run through 1 header, and 4-5-6 run through another, and through dual exaust all the way out the back. This engine breaths VERY well.
The interior is also quite impressive. Leather covers every surface except the carpets and the dashboard. Car has power everything (seats, windows, mirrors, sunroof etc.) Even has seat warmers, which is said to be a rare option on the U.S. models. Seats are factory Recaro's. Interior is nice even by todays standards.
Back seats are equally nice, covered in real leather, they are like there own mini-buckets! Car has rear A/C, and a built in cooler in the center which can keep 3 cans of ( ) cool using the A/C system.
The handling of this car is amazing, there is almost no body lean, and the car grips the road perfectly. Considering the size of this car, it handles itself very well.
By the way, I'm not the one who used the front spolier as a pavement scraper, that was the p.o. Hopefully I can get it re-painted some time soon. At least its not cracked.
