Volvo 242 1980'
Hi!
B6304FS in volvo 242! A very great ride now, which accellerates 0-100 in approx. 6.8-7.0 seconds. Battery has been moved to the trunk, as it would no longer fit in the engine-bay.
A recent picture of my car, with lowering now in front too! Also, I have the plastic bumper :)
The tail-lights are the volvo 740 90'-> type.
Here is my theoretical top-speed, calculus. As my car can reach 255.07km/h, I had to buy new tires. ZRW tires are good for 270km/h.
Here you see the 264 24mm swaybar, vs. the stock 240 swaybar.. The 240 swaybar would not clear the oilpan.
This is the drive-mode switch.
Project pictures can be viewed here
The car is now under engine-swap! The new engine, will be the one from Volvo 960, which is 3.0, doch 24v.
It has 204hp/267nm, 80% of nm @ 1000rpm!

I swapped to the USA front, as my car is European and I didnt really like the completely rectangular lights that where on the car.
I'm currently polishing the engine and parts, to get a chrome surface :) It's not done yet!! still more to do. I'm doing this just for kicks, as the engine and tranny will be swapped. I will put a B230ET from 1987' 740 TIC, or maybe a Chervrolet 350TPI engine? If I put the V8, it will be just for the sound.. it will also gain weight :/
This seat is from a volvo 260, I will complete the leather.. Maybe 780 or C70 front seats? I also need to upholstr the side panels in leather.
The rear speakers are Infinity in M/A authority box.
I have this custom thing for 2 x 12" speakers mounted towards the rear seat :) but I dont think I'll use this, as I just bought a 32" Clarion Prosound CRW8000 subwoofer.
Some more pictures:

The alloys are 17x7.5 (Eiker Polaris). I have Fulda Extremo Carat 225/45ZR-17 tires on it.

I dont have a front spoiler yet, but it will come in due time :)

I'm missing this list on the side :/

As you see, the car looks fairly good. I will give it a new color in due time. Ferarri red will cover the car, as it did my last 244. I'm also considering maybe Green Metallic or Blue Metallic combined with Silver Metallic. But I think I'll go for the Ferarri Red, as it's the most beautifull color ever made!
