TOYOTA RACING DEVELOPMENT 4WD SEQUOIA LIMITED

Hey everyone. This is a 2003 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4WD. I've had this truck for 34,000 miles and I can't tell you how great of a truck it is. Nothing rattles! It drives so smooth and soft, and yet, somehow still feels connected to the road, which is saying a lot for a big truck like this. Totally better than my experience with domestics.

I've had a blast with this thing. I've gotten it stuck in the swampland of south Georgia, in the bayous of the panhandle of Florida, and recently, in the slick mud of Asheville, NC!
It will spend most of its days going way too fast in the mud. I sell undeveloped resort property, so I basically offroad old rich people around till they pay me to take them back home. This Sequoia holds 7 or 8, offroads wonderfully, has plenty of power (but more to come), and is HIGHER and has MORE GROUND CLEARANCE than a Hummer 2. (A guy that works with me has one.)
I have this TRD Limited Slip Diff. and it doesn't really help much. Toyota really messed up. You can't turn off your traction control. And no one at the dealership will help me. Too scared. They tell me everytime I go in they 'remind' me that I have no warranty now. Screw them. I think the LSD helps when it's in 4WD and I'm doin' donuts in the mud at wide open throttle though.
10/26/03... I figured it out. I put chrome headers and a cold air intake on it. The headers, for some reason, are messing up my O2 sensor codes. This makes my engine lights come on. This ALSO makes the traction control turn off. I've got some great pics of this thing sliding in the dirt. I've got to get them up here.

The color is Phantom Gray Pearl. I put the TRD grill on the day after I got it. Big difference. Also, the Sequoia has 18X9" TRD/BBS Wheels and 285/65-18 BFG All Terrains. Hooray BFG for stepping up to an 18". Because of the wheels being larger than normal, the truck looks smaller than it is. I don't want it to look lifted. I want it to look 'right'.

The truck is flexing here for some reason. Trying to show you the TRD exhaust.
