Geez. After stumbling over here to laugh at a lifted 'Rado with more shocks than my neighborhood, I stumbled upon this D-90 with a several thousand dollar system, carpeting in the back (WHY!?!), OEM tires and brush bar, and "offroading" pics of it up on a pile of leaves of something.
This is dumb. A Defender is not a "phat ride" for "da boyz". Just because Freddie Prinze Jr. drove one in "She's All That" doesn't make it right.
This page is in hopeful retribution, to show a Land Rover built for offroad functionality, rather than some blinged-out poser.
Among the modifications include larger springs, relocated rear shock mounts, a hinged radius arm, front and rear air-actuated locking diffs, a rock solid, low profile front bumper, rock sliders, and 33x12.50 SSR tires.
An actual offroad picture. Not a pile of leaves.

My tribute to the import racing scene. My neighbors hate it.
My bling is a lot cheaper than a custom stereo. In fact, my stereo doesn't even work.
If you want to vote on my modifications or whatever, here you go:
Performance:
- Nothing beyond maintenance done to engine
- McNamara air-locking diffs w/ 4.10 R&P
- Hinged from radius arm
- RoverTym springs
- Extended rear shock mounts
- 33x12.50/15 Super Swamper SSRs
Exterior:
- Rockware front winch bumper
- SG Rock Sliders
- Custom swingaway rear tire carrier
- Lights
Interior:
- Honestly, its a Defender. Who cares?
Sound:
- Front door panels removed, lost two speakers
- Stereo stopped working six months ago. Couldn't hear it anyways.
