Welcome to the page I made just for my truck. The truck is a 1975 Chevrolet Cheyenne ?ton 2wd SWB, that my dad bought brand new in 75. He ordered it with Silverado trim package, Power Steering, and the factory tow package (which included a heavy duty tow bumper, and 3.40 gears), but nothing else. Right off the dealers lot, back in 1975, the truck weighed 3650lbs without a driver. Now, after all the modifications I've done, it weighs 3620lbs (this is with the 17's instead of the factory 15's)
I got this truck from my dad back in 98, when I was a Junior in high school, when the truck was 100% stock. Since I got it, I didn't really do anything to it, until 2002. In 2002, I was going to put a new Carb/Intake/Headers on it, but I found out that the crank was toast because the #8 Rod Bearing spun. So, I waited until 2003, when I got my tax return back, and I put the new motor in it, got all new suspension, and got new wheels for. Go on to the next page to find out all about it.
*UPDATE 08/03/05*
Well, I finally got around to updating this page again. I've decided to change directions with this truck. As it turns out, you can't really make a truck fast, easy...so I've decided to swap in a 700R4 transmission, and add a Vintage Air A/C kit, and make this truck a daily driver. Slap on a tow hitch, and tow the REAL fast car. ;)

Just wondering, what make you decide to go with Hedman headers instead of Hooker? I'm about to redo my exhaust and don't know which brand to go with.
