Obvioulsy I have changed my scoop setup. The old way was nice, but it was clogging up my filter to quickly. I got this scoop since it has a K&N filter inside, but it has a foam pre-filter in front that will be easier and quicker to clean.

Right now the car is in a hundred peices getting a new clutch, new shifter linkage, new turn signal switch, carb rebuild, some 3:55 gears and a mini-spool.

Heres a new pic, Not much changed, been doing mechanical work lately. I rebuilt the clutch linkage, and had tailpipes put on but still no mufflers. I also got the kinks worked out of the carb.

I have done quite a bit lately. I have been working on the suspension, with a new export brace, and monte carlo bar, 550# 1" lowering springs in the front, and 5 leaf mid-eye leaf springs with poly bushings and regular length shackles, and new gas shocks. I also put on a new rear valance panel, and some sequential turn signals. I installed a new Grant steering wheel, similar to the shelby style wheels. I installed the new valance and chin spoiler as well.

Here is a newer shot of the engine. It is a 69 351 windsor, balanced, bored .030 over, flat-top pistons, stage 2 RV cam, ported the heads, thread in rocker studs, 1.6/1.9 valves, ARP bolts, Edelbrock Airgap intake, Holley 650 double pumper, K&N airfilter, pertronix ignitor, large distributor cap conversion, ACCEL super stock coil, NASCAR 8mm plug wires, MSD-6A ignition, longtube headers, with X-pipe and dual 2.5 inch pipe exiting in front of the rear tires, thats right, no mufflers. Power is channeled through a Hurst shifted toploader 4spd, to an 8 inch axle containing 2:79 gears.

Here are some shots of the airbox I made to get more of a ram air effect.

I recently scored a 351C which I plan to build and install in this mustang. The 351W will eventually make it's way into my wifes 1979 Mercury Capri which is also on this site.

Heres a few pics of me. The left one is from halloween. Can you guess who I am?
