This is my 1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. For those who don't know what a DSM is, it is a car produced through a joining between Chrysler and Mitsubishi. These cars are EASILY upgradeable from the factory and are known to run very impressive 1/4 miles times with few mods.I bought this car on 4/18/03 with just over 55,000 original miles on it. It was unmolested and completely stock except for a K&N air filter. The price I paid? How's $3500 sound? Wanna hear the better part? Cant wait to launch it.-Joe P MBC @ 16-17 PSI-GM MAF-Translator w/ 3" GM MAF-Dejon Tool Blowthrough UICP-Dejon Tool Hard intake pipe w/ K&N Filter-Autometer Sport comp boost gauge and Westach EGT in dual a-pillar pod-2.5"/3" Cat Eliminator Downpipe-It begins at 2.5" from the O2 housing then opens up into the 3" beginning at the flex section and then continues on eliminating the cat. Price couldnt be beat on this at $169. Im suffering from about 2-3psi of boost creep due to this exhaust system.-3" RnR Racing mandrel bent catback-Other exhaust was just too loud and I wanted something to flow better.-Eibach Prokit Springs with KYB GR2's in front and KYB AGX's in rear-Gave about a 1" drop all around and car handles much better.-93 AWD Big brake with Powerslots-I got this kit off e-bay for a pretty good price. Came with twin-piston calipers and Powerslot rotors. Car stops much better.-Symborski Shifter Kit - I HIGHLY recommend this. It replaces the shitty stock rubber bushings with CNC machined metal ones. The gear points are better defined and the shifter has an overall better feel.-2nd Gen Shift knob- A MUST upgrade to anyone with a 90-92 DSM. Get rid of that horsecock knob and replace it with this.-Pennzoil Syncromesh-Put this in the tranny and it shifts so much nicer than before.-Apexi Turbo Timer-Only bought it because I was getting sick of waiting to shut the car off after I ran it hard. I dont even use the auto feature. I figure only I know how hard I run the car.-Walbro 190LPH in tank fuel pump-More fuel=more boost-Datalogger-Im using a Palm IIIxe w/MMCD datalogging software and a homemade mount. I don't have any track times so far.
