So far my Firebird is almost completely stock. It came with leather interior, power everything, a pretty decent sound system, cruise control, antilock brakes, EXTREMELY COLD A/C, a stereo control system built into the steering wheel, only 19,000 miles, a thirst for gas, and a look that all my female friends immediately fell in love with >=D About a week after I first bought it I had a Flowmaster American Thunder Dual Exhaust System with Stainless Steel Tips installed. I was seeing someone at the time so I had black limo tints put in. Then I was told to get a K & N Air Filter, which I did and installed myself (AMAZING ISN'T IT!?) Then I bought an Aiwa MP3 decoding CD Player which doesn't even have a pause button... Anyways, I had that installed along with two 12" Pioneer Subwoofers in a custom fit box and an 800 Watt Pioneer 4 Channel Amplifier. I got Pioneer Door Speakers and Tweeters because my old ones were blown. I also had an alarm system installed.

I only have a 3.4L V6 for now, but will soon swap an LS1 in it's place. I want to change the hood and front bumper as well as the rear bumper, head lights and tail lights. I have a few other things planned and will update as soon as these upgrades are performed.

I really love the way the Firebird's guages light up in red when it's dark. In fact I like it so much I had to take a picture. Next time I'm driving at top speed I'll be sure to take a picture. For now Pines Blvd. speed limit will have to do.

I may have the smallest engine these F-Bodies come with but it's still quite effective in making Honda Civic owners look stupid. I'm not saying I beat all of them, but a large number of them, hooked up even. When I get the LS1 though, ALL Civics will be a 1/4 mile behind me at all times. Sorry, I just hate Civics. But I can't brag much, I have been beaten in many races by cars such as Tiburons, 3000GTs, MR2 Spiders, Camaros, a Viper. On ocassion a Civic with a load of performance upgrades manages to get by me, but not by much.

Well, I'll keep updating whenever I get new pictures of my ride and I'll most likely be taking those whenever I get upgrades. Just one more picture for now.

I took this picture as I raced a 2002 Honda Civic, I believe it was an EX. And no that's not it up ahead on the far right lane, that's just a Ford Expedition that had the grand opportunity to witness me handing someone an ass whooping.

Oh yeah, one last thing, I don't know what nickname to give my car but I want to give it one. So if you have any ideas feel free sign my guest book and let me hear what crazy nicknames you guys have for my car.

The cheapest Trans Am I found with an LS1 already in it was $6,500, and it had 90,000 miles on it! I don't really want to invest money into something that is going to need pretty much the same thing I want right now... a new engine. Also I don't feel I deserve to pay insurance company even more money just because I will be driving a car that tops out at 150 mph. If I just drop an LS1 into the car I already have it will save me money in the end. For all the insurance company will know I will still be driving that 95' green Pontiac Firebird with a 3.4 Liter V6. I'm only 19 years old, if I buy something as fast as a Trans Am my insurance for 3 years will be more than the car itself... if I buy that one I found for $6,500. When I get a little older and start making more money, I plan on buying a 2002 Black Bird, if I can afford that car I'm sure I can afford to pay for the insurance, until then I'll invest in what I already have. Thanks for your advice though, I appreciate you looking out for me, thanks again.

You got a nice ride and a cool site. Thanks for the comments on my Bird! You can probably get some cool rims for cheap on ebay! I got mine at www.aaarims.com for $795. I think the price for chrome 16x8s has dropped now. Anyway, when you get ready to go to Canada give me an email at firecruise@yahoo.com and let's see if we can set up a run.

nice bird, looks real clean, i wouldnt bother if i was you swapin the engine over, sure it would be great and all but your much better financially selling your bird and buying one with a LS1 already in it, thats just my opinion though, best of luck with her
