Update 4-7-05 - Cosmetic Mods!!!

Went on an Ebay spree with the money I'd saved up from my new job (which is now nonexistant for reasons that were not explained to me). I bought and installed a billet aluminum gas door, tonneau cover (Yeah, I DO try to pay attention to my poll on the main page...depending on how much money I've got), billet aluminum 3rd brake light, carbon fiber euro tailights, tailgate lock, clear corner lenses (w/ amber bulbs), and an ohiodakotas.net windshield decal. Here's all the pics I took...unfortunately it was raining so there's beads of water all over everything.

I'd also like to thank my friend Chris for detailing my truck...I got a professional detail (inside and out) for almost half the normal charge and he did a really good job on it. My wheels looked horrible from the winter and he got em looking brand new again! w00t!

Update 9/14/05

I'm still alive I swear! Haven't done squat to the truck lately...been in some serious debt and just recently found a job and am almost out of it! Once I'm out of debt, I got some big plans coming! First off...I removed the tailgate lock the other day. It was junk...even in the locked position, it still allowed the handle to be pulled far enough to pop the latch. With a little rigging I'm sure I could have made it work, but I wasn't in the mood.

My carbon fiber taillights have also started warping terribly (making the plastic get little hairline cracks that looks like condensation)...I've had them installed less than 6 mos. Talk about total BS! I emailed the guy I got them from to see if he would be able to doing anything about it. Chances are I'm gonna get a big ole, "Sorry bout your luck!" but I figure the worst he could say is, "No." Just goes to show I should have spent the extra $$$ and bought from a well-known company like maybe APC rather than some cheap look-a-likes off Ebay.

Future Plans
TransGo shift kit (VERY near future...probably within the next couple weeks...though it won't be installed immediately).
Pioneer Headunit (My current Xplod HU barely works anymore...never been abused either...)
Elemental Designs subwoofer(s) and amp
Finish and install cowl induction hood
Harland Sharp 1.7 ratio roller rockers
Foglights
Custom machined throttle body (rather than my dremeled one)
Rollpan (may need to do some serious custom fab work with my bed being so bent)
3.92 or possibly 4.10 gears with limited-slip
electric fan to replace clutch fan
Racing seats
Considering saving for either a blower or a 75 shot nitrous kit
Considering redoing my exhaust...running either straight pipes or "fake" dual glasspacks.

Any more suggestions for me? Let me know...that's what my comments section is for!

Hey nice truck! You gave me the idea of putting a 14" air cleaner on my 5.2 and it works great!
